“Top-ranked 2025 Shooting Guard Davion Hannah to Take Official Visit to Wisconsin Basketball Program”
Wisconsin basketball is making big moves in the recruiting world, securing an official visit with top-ranked class of 2025 shooting guard Davion Hannah. According to 247sports’ National Basketball Scout & Recruiting Analyst Brandon Jenkins, Hannah will also be taking official visits to Alabama, Louisville, Ohio State, and Wake Forest this fall.
The 6-foot-5, 175-pound small forward recently made the decision to transfer to Link Academy in Branson, Missouri, for his senior season of high school basketball. Despite the move, Hannah remains Wisconsin’s top class of 2025 target on the hardwood.
Hannah, who was previously ranked as the No. 1 overall recruit from Wisconsin at Nicolet High School, is now ranked as the No. 3 overall recruit from Missouri, No. 4 combo guard, and the No. 29 national recruit for the class of 2025. He is still considered a four-star recruit across various scouting platforms.
With 17 offers already on the table from top programs like Alabama, Iowa, Louisville, and Ohio State, it’s clear that Hannah is a highly sought-after prospect. His official visit to Wisconsin on the weekend of September 14 will surely be a key moment in his recruitment process.
Wisconsin’s class of 2025 currently ranks No. 7 in the nation, with commitments from in-state prospects Zach Kinziger and Will Garlock. The Badgers will be facing stiff competition for Hannah’s commitment, especially if powerhouse programs like Duke, Kentucky, UConn, or Kansas enter the picture.
Nevertheless, Wisconsin is pulling out all the stops for Hannah’s visit, with a matchup against Alabama scheduled at Camp Randall on the same day. The Badgers are determined to make a strong impression on the talented rising senior and potentially secure a commitment from one of the top prospects in the class of 2025.
