Louisville Men’s Basketball Set to Play in Bahamas Summer League
The University of Louisville men’s basketball team is gearing up for an exciting summer as they announced their participation in a foreign exhibition tour in the Bahamas. Head coach Pat Kelsey shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming Baha Mar Hoops Summer League, emphasizing the importance of the trip in helping the team come together both on and off the court.
The Cardinals will face international competition as part of the 2024 Baha Mar Hoops Summer League, managed by bdG Sports. Louisville will play two games during the tour, giving them valuable practice and playing time as they prepare for the upcoming season. The team will arrive in the Bahamas on July 28 and return to the United States on August 2.
While the opponents for the games have yet to be determined, Louisville fans can start planning their trip to support the team. Fan packages, which include accommodations at the Baha Mar resort, game tickets, and other amenities, can be requested by emailing info@bahamarhoops.com. Additionally, game tickets will be available for purchase in advance on the Baha Mar Hoops website.
This isn’t the first time the Cardinals have embarked on a foreign trip, with their last one taking place in Puerto Rico in 2015. The team will have 10 days of practice at home before heading to the Bahamas, and will later return for the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament in November.
