University of Louisville Basketball Staff to Host Four-Star Guard Davion Hannah for Official Visit
The University of Louisville basketball staff is making moves to secure top talent for the upcoming season, with four-star guard Davion Hannah set to visit campus for an official visit this fall.
Hannah, a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, currently attending Link Academy in Branson, Missouri, confirmed to 247Sports national analyst Brandon Jenkins that Louisville would be one of his five official visits in the coming months. The 6-foot-5 guard is currently showcasing his skills with Team Herro at the Nike Peach Jam.
After a recent game where U of L assistant coach Ronnie Hamilton checked in on him, Hannah expressed his excitement about visiting Louisville on September 7. Other schools on his visit list include Alabama, Wisconsin, Ohio State, and Wake Forest.
“Louisville is a school that I have been talking to a lot,” said Hannah. “They have a new staff and they are rebuilding. They have preached to me about coming and being a part of that rebuild. I really like them because they keep it real with me.”
Hamilton, who joined U of L from LSU, has been instrumental in recruiting Hannah, with the guard noting the consistent communication from the coaching staff. The Cardinals offered him a scholarship after watching him at the NBA Players Association Top 100 Camp last month.
Ranked as the No. 34 player in the class of 2025 by 247Sports, Hannah has impressed with his performance on the court, averaging 16.3 points and 4.7 rebounds during the EYBL season. With his visit to Louisville on the horizon, fans are eager to see if Hannah will choose to join the Cardinals and contribute to their rebuilding efforts.
