The Louisville Metro Police Department is currently investigating a disturbing incident that occurred in downtown Louisville. An altercation between a customer from Visionworks and a store employee at a nearby Shell gas station escalated to a dangerous level when a shot was fired inside a business lobby.

According to reports, the dispute began when the Visionworks customer became upset about having to show ID to purchase tobacco products and threw a soda at the Shell gas station employee. The Visionworks customer then left the gas station and returned to her workplace, with the Shell employee following her.

The confrontation continued in the lobby of Visionworks, where the Shell employee reportedly fired a shot. Luckily, no one was injured in the incident. The Shell employee then returned to the gas station, where she was later found by police.

The Louisville Metro Police Department’s First Division is currently leading the investigation, and as of now, no charges have been filed in connection with the incident. Stay tuned for further updates on this developing story.
