Severe Weather Alert: Louisville Braces for Strong Storms and Tornadoes on Tuesday

LIVE STORM TRACKING: Tornado warning in Adair County

A tornado warning has been issued for Adair County, with live storm tracking currently underway. The National Weather Service has reported that the storm is weakening, with the tornado threat starting to drop off. In northwestern Meade County, eastern Perry County, and southern Crawford County, a rotating storm capable of producing gusty winds of up to 50-60mph is moving towards the northeast.

As the remnants of Hurricane Beryl move towards Louisville, chances for scattered showers and thunderstorms are increasing. Some storms on Tuesday night could be strong to severe, prompting a Severe Alert Day declaration for the area. The storms are expected to be scattered, with the potential to produce strong wind gusts and isolated tornado spin-ups.
