SUU Men’s Basketball Team Adds Veteran Point Guard Hercy Miller from Louisville
The Southern Utah University men’s basketball team has added a veteran point guard to its roster for the upcoming season. Hercy Miller, a 6-foot-3 point guard from Los Angeles, California, will be joining the team after spending the last two seasons at the University of Louisville.
Miller had a standout season at Louisville, playing in 27 games and earning a spot on the Atlantic Coast Conference All-Academic Team. Despite a hip injury and surgery cutting his last season short, Miller impressed with his performance on the court.
Head coach Rob Jeter expressed his excitement about Miller joining the team, noting his high-level experience and versatility. Miller’s addition is part of a series of roster changes made by Jeter during the offseason, which also includes other talented players like Kai Burdick, JT Langston Jr., Xavier Sykes, and Tavi Jackson.
The T-Birds finished their first season under Jeter with a 10-21 overall record and are looking to elevate their performance in the upcoming season. With Miller’s addition, the team is gearing up to achieve their goals and make a mark in the Western Athletic Conference.
Fans and supporters of SUU basketball can look forward to seeing Miller and the rest of the team in action as they prepare to take on the competition in the upcoming season. Stay tuned for more updates and exciting games from the T-Birds.
