“New Single-Family Homes Coming to Clarksville Neighborhood”
New Pocket Neighborhood Development Brings 21 New Homes to Clarksville
In a town where space is at a premium, Clarksville is set to welcome nearly two dozen new homes in a new pocket neighborhood development. The construction is currently in its early stages, with 21 single-family detached homes planned to be built on just two and a half acres of land.
Residents like Amy Rock, who relocated to Clarksville from the Indianapolis area four years ago, are excited about the new development. Rock and her family enjoy the historic charm of their neighborhood and are looking forward to the addition of modern homes in the area.
The new homes will feature 3 to 4 bedrooms, a garage or driveway, and will offer a fresh and modern look to the neighborhood. The homes will be built by Millennium Builders and will be approximately 14,000 square feet each.
The 2.5-acre property was previously home to Paper Products, Inc., but closed in 2020. The Clarksville Redevelopment Commission purchased the property and is now overseeing the development of the new homes.
While some residents have expressed concerns about the need for more housing in Clarksville, Rock believes that the new development will help raise property values in the area. The listing prices for the new homes are expected to range between $325,000 and $355,000.
Construction is ongoing, and the completion date for the project is still to be determined. The new pocket neighborhood is expected to bring in more revenue to the area and provide residents with modern and spacious living options.
Overall, the addition of the 21 new homes is seen as a positive step towards growth and development in Clarksville, bringing new life to the community.
